Hi, I am having serious issues with Home Warranty of America. My washer/dryer should be replaced per their vendor (who also damaged a door to my laundry room) but HWA is only offering $59. I have seen there are few class actions against HWA. Do you know anything about this?

Class action suits are pretty much a waste of time and take years to resolve usually providing only minimum payouts to any sucessful claimants. Probably a good return for the lawyers who sue on behalf of the class, but by the time any awards get to the injured parties it is in so small an amount as to be worthless. Also when such suits are 'settled' by a payout by the firm being sued in 99% of the cases it is settled on a confidential basis, this means that the case is simply dismissed and you never hear what amounts were agreed to for the settlement. Go take a look at the above referenced site there is a lot of info on it.
